PFL announces new matchups, playoff alternates for August cards

PFL decides its 2024 finalists next month across three events, and those cards feature alternate bouts with fighters looking for an opening into the $1 million finals.

PFL 7, scheduled for Aug. 2 in Nashville, now includes Tyrell Fortune vs. Sergei Bilostenniy as a heavyweight alternate. PFL 8 lands in Hollywood, Fla., two weeks later, when former champion Antonio Carlos Junior battles Karl Albrektsson in the 205-pound alternate. The card also features Elvin Espinoza vs. Mads Burnell in a lightweight alternate.

PFL 9 goes down on Aug. 23 in Washington with one-time Bellator title contender Neiman Gracie taking on Luca Poclit for a potential spot in the welterweight final, while Tyler Diamond fights Enrique Barzola for backup status in the featherweight division.
